We have combined fashion with sporting themes and use eco-friendly, premium Italian fabrics, which, hold vibrant colour and have been specifically designed for sweating and intense movement of the body.

The first collection “Hot Neon Lights” launched in September 2009 and was designed first and foremost for Bikram, Vinyasa (Power) Yoga and Pilates, however these designs are suitable for yoga in general, the beach, gym work and dance. Simply put, these styles are the perfect accompaniment for an active lifestyle.

Sarah Harte is the Sydney based designer and Director who founded the business. She discovered Bikram yoga in 2004 and has been a regular practitioner ever since. Having also practiced a number of other styles of yoga globally she felt there was room in the market for a premium brand, which offered colourful and edgy styles, hence Oscar Mimosa was created.

Sarah draws inspiration from combining high-end fashion with active wear and swim wear while ensuring the key components of comfort and durability are met. Her vision was to create a brand, which represented confidence, individuality and vibrancy through colours and unique designs.

Oscar Mimosa garments are high quality, eco-friendly, quick dry and feel soft and light on the skin. The vision is to cater to those fashion savvy people who like to stand out in a crowd and prefer style and quality over mass-produced products.
